These Terms of Service govern your use of careerprobelab.com and your participation in any Career Probe workshop, intensive, coaching engagement, or organizational session. By accessing this website, registering for a service, or submitting any form, you agree to these terms in full.
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use this website or register for any Career Probe service.
1. Who We Are
Career Probe is operated by Doctor Maple LLC, a limited liability company registered in Kansas, doing business as Career Probe.

2. Services
Career Probe offers the following services:
Career Probe Intensive — a live online experiential workshop for mid-career and senior professionals navigating nonlinear career pivots
Career Pivot Diagnostic — a 90-minute focused strategy session, booked directly through Acuity Scheduling and processed by Stripe
The Probe Sprint — a 5-session application-based coaching engagement
Deep Navigation — a 10-session application-based coaching engagement
Custom and organizational sessions — facilitated workshops for organizations, associations, and professional communities, scoped and priced by inquiry
Career Probe reserves the right to modify the content, format, delivery method, or facilitation of any service with reasonable notice. Material changes to a registered service will be communicated by email before the session date.
3. Eligibility
By using this website or registering for any Career Probe service, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years of age
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
You are not prohibited from using these services under applicable law
Career Probe does not knowingly provide services to anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has registered for a service, we will cancel the registration and issue a full refund.
4. Registration and Payment
Workshop and intensive registration
Registration for workshops and intensives is completed through Acuity Scheduling and processed by Stripe. Your registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy govern all payment transactions. Career Probe does not store your card details.
Career Pivot Diagnostic booking
The 90-Minute Career Pivot Diagnostic is booked directly through Acuity Scheduling. Payment is collected at the time of booking and processed by Stripe via the Acuity Scheduling integration. Your session is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Acuity’s terms of service and Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy govern this transaction. Career Probe does not store your card details.
Coaching applications
Coaching engagements — The Probe Sprint and Deep Navigation — are application-based. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. You will be contacted within three business days of submitting your application. Payment is invoiced through Dubsado after acceptance and processed by Stripe.
Organizational sessions
Custom and organizational sessions are scoped and priced through an inquiry conversation. Proposals, contracts, and invoicing for organizational engagements are managed through Dubsado. No payment is due until a formal proposal has been reviewed and a contract has been signed by both parties. Payment terms are specified in the engagement contract.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Workshops and intensives
Full refund: available if you cancel 7 or more days before the first session date
Credit toward a future workshop: available if you cancel within 7 days of the first session date
No spot transfers: your registration may not be transferred to another person
Career Probe cancellation: if Career Probe cancels a session, you will receive a full cash refund within 5 business days
Career Pivot Diagnostic
The 90-Minute Career Pivot Diagnostic may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice using the link in your confirmation email. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are not eligible for a refund. Missed sessions without notice are not refunded. If Career Probe cancels or is unable to deliver the session, you will receive a full refund within 5 business days.
Coaching engagements
Either party may terminate a coaching engagement with written notice to hello@careerprobelab.com.
If you terminate early: Sessions delivered are charged at the per-session rate for your package. Any remaining balance is refunded on a pro-rata basis minus a $100 administrative fee.
The Probe Sprint (5 sessions, $1,750) — $350 per session
Deep Navigation (10 sessions, $3,500) — $350 per session
Refunds are processed within 10 business days of written notice.
If Career Probe terminates early: You will receive a full refund of all unused sessions within 5 business days. No administrative fee will be charged.
Organizational sessions
Cancellation terms for organizational engagements are specified in the Dubsado proposal and engagement contract for each project. In the absence of specific contract terms, a full refund is available if cancelled more than 14 days before the session date. Cancellations within 14 days are subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the engagement value to cover preparation costs already incurred.
6. Intellectual Property
All Career Probe materials are the proprietary intellectual property of Doctor Maple LLC. This includes but is not limited to:
Workshop content, exercises, and facilitation structures
The Career Probe method — Career Traps, Capability Translation, and probe design
Pre-work documents, worksheets, and PDF guides
Email content, website copy, and marketing materials
The Career Probe brand, logo, and visual identity
Recordings of workshop and coaching sessions
You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, publish, perform, display, or create derivative works from any Career Probe material without prior written permission from Doctor Maple LLC.
Participants are welcome to apply what they learn in their own professional lives. This permission does not extend to reproducing or teaching the Career Probe method, exercises, or materials in any commercial or professional capacity without a separate written agreement.

7. Confidentiality
Our commitment to you
Career Probe will keep all personal information you share in coaching sessions, applications, and intake forms strictly confidential. We will not disclose your personal details, career situation, or session content to any third party without your explicit written consent, except as required by law.
Aggregate and anonymized insights may be used to improve Career Probe's methodology and services. No individually identifying information will be shared.
Your commitment to us
By participating in any Career Probe coaching engagement, you agree not to publicly reproduce, share, teach, or commercially exploit the proprietary method, frameworks, exercises, or content delivered in your sessions. This includes but is not limited to the Career Traps framework, Capability Translation process, and probe design methodology.
This confidentiality obligation survives the termination of your coaching engagement.
8. Session Recording
Career Probe occasionally records live workshop sessions for internal review and marketing purposes. Recordings capture all participants and are not shared with attendees. The one exception is accessibility: participants with an accessibility need may request a copy of a recording by contacting hello@careerprobelab.com after their session.
Participants are notified of recording in their workshop confirmation email and day-before reminder. If a session will not be recorded, participants are notified in their day-before reminder.
One-on-one sessions — including the Career Pivot Diagnostic, The Probe Sprint, and Deep Navigation — are not recorded under any circumstances.
If you have concerns about being recorded, contact hello@careerprobelab.com before your session date.
9. Testimonials and Feedback
Career Probe may request your permission to use feedback or testimonials for marketing purposes after a workshop or session. Permission will be requested separately and explicitly. We will not use your feedback publicly without your consent.
Where consent is given, you may choose to be attributed by full name, first name only, role only, or anonymously.
10. Scope of Services
Career Probe provides career strategy, workshop facilitation, and coaching services. These services are educational and professional development in nature.
Career Probe is not:
A therapy, counseling, or mental health service
A job placement or recruiting service
A resume writing or LinkedIn optimization service as a primary offer
A guarantee of employment, income, career direction, or specific outcomes
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical support, please seek assistance from a qualified mental health professional. Career Probe is not equipped to provide that support.
Results from Career Probe workshops and coaching depend on your active participation, honest engagement, and willingness to take action. Career Probe cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
Independent decision-making
Career Probe serves as a thinking partner and guide. All career decisions — including but not limited to job applications, interviews, career changes, resignations, negotiations, and professional investments — are made by you independently.
Career Probe expressly disclaims any responsibility for the outcome of decisions made during or after any session, workshop, or coaching engagement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Doctor Maple LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of this website or any Career Probe service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Doctor Maple LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or emotional distress, arising from your use of or inability to use Career Probe services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Career Probe services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Doctor Maple LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content, service, or material provided.
We do not warrant that this website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
13. External Links
This website contains links to third-party websites and services including Calendly, Acuity Scheduling, Kit, Dubsado, Stripe, Dropbox, Zoom, Miro, and others. These links are provided for your convenience.
Doctor Maple LLC is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, accuracy, or availability of any external website or service. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any external service you use.
14. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and Career Probe, we ask that you contact us first at hello@careerprobelab.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will respond within 10 business days.
If informal resolution is not successful, the parties agree to attempt mediation in good faith before pursuing litigation.
Any legal action arising from these terms or your use of Career Probe services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, and shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Kansas. If you are located in the EEA or UK, nothing in this clause affects your rights under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
15. Modifications to These Terms
Career Probe reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For material changes affecting active registrations or coaching engagements, we will notify affected participants by email before the changes take effect.
16. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For users in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, applicable consumer protection and data protection law also applies and is not excluded by these terms.
