These Terms of Service govern your use of careerprobelab.com and your purchase of or participation in any Career Probe workshop, individual session, or organizational engagement.
By accessing this website, registering for a service, purchasing a ticket, booking a session, or submitting an inquiry form, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website or purchase a Career Probe service.
1. Who We Are
Career Probe is operated by Doctor Maple LLC, a Kansas limited liability company doing business as Career Probe.
Email: hello@careerprobelab.com
Website: careerprobelab.com
2. Services
Career Probe currently offers services for individuals and organizations.
Public workshops for individuals
Career Probe offers a four-workshop series for people navigating nonlinear career change:
Stuck in Your Career? Map What’s Making the Next Move Hard to See
Who Are You Beyond Your Job Title? Uncover the Capabilities You Can Carry Forward
What Could Be Possible from Here? Explore New Career Directions Within Reach
What Could You Test Next? Design a Small Career Experiment Before You Make a Big Move
Each workshop is a live, two-hour virtual session delivered through Zoom.
Workshops are sold separately. Participants may purchase one workshop, several workshops, or all four workshops, subject to availability. Purchasing multiple workshops does not create a discounted package unless a discount is expressly offered at the time of purchase.
Each workshop provides a complete experience on its own. Participation in an earlier workshop is not required unless a particular event listing expressly states otherwise.
1:1 Career Pivot Diagnostic Session
The 1:1 Career Pivot Diagnostic Session is a private, 90-minute career strategy session delivered through Zoom.
The session is intended to help you examine a specific career situation, clarify what may be making movement difficult, and identify a practical question or next step to investigate.
The standard price is $250 unless a different price is displayed when you book.
Organizational services
Career Probe provides custom services for organizations, associations, professional communities, and other groups. These services may include:
Full-day or half-day facilitated workshops
Career agility and capability-development programs
Team Capability Mapping
Leadership development sessions
Custom speaking and workshop engagements
Optional individual 90-minute follow-on coaching sessions connected to an organizational engagement
Organizational services are scoped, priced, and governed by a separate proposal and written agreement. If the terms of an organizational agreement conflict with these website Terms of Service, the signed organizational agreement controls for that engagement.
Career Probe may modify the content, format, delivery method, or facilitation of a service when reasonably necessary. Material changes affecting a purchased service will be communicated to registered participants or clients.
3. Eligibility
By using this website or purchasing a Career Probe service, you represent that:
You are at least 18 years old
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
You are not prohibited from using these services under applicable law
The information you provide during registration or booking is accurate
Career Probe does not knowingly provide services directly to anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that a minor has registered without appropriate authorization, we may cancel the registration and issue a refund.
4. Registration and Payment
Public workshop registration
Public workshop registration is completed through Ticket Tailor.
The current ticket price is displayed on the applicable Ticket Tailor event listing. Registration is confirmed after payment has been successfully processed.
Tickets may be purchased for one or more workshops in the same transaction. Each ticket remains a separate workshop registration and is subject to the cancellation deadline for its corresponding workshop date.
Ticket Tailor and its payment providers have their own terms of service and privacy policies. Career Probe does not directly store your complete payment-card information.
1:1 Career Pivot Diagnostic Session
The 1:1 Career Pivot Diagnostic Session is booked through Calendly.
Payment is collected at the time of booking and processed through Stripe. Your session is confirmed only after the payment has been successfully completed.
Calendly and Stripe have their own terms of service and privacy policies. Career Probe does not directly store your complete payment-card information.
Organizational services
Organizational engagements are arranged through an inquiry and scoping process. Proposals, agreements, and invoices may be managed through Dubsado, with payments processed through Stripe or another payment method stated in the engagement agreement.
Payment amounts, deposits, due dates, cancellation provisions, and other financial terms are stated in the applicable proposal or signed agreement.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds
Public workshops
The following policy applies separately to each public workshop ticket:
A full refund is available when you cancel at least seven calendar days before the workshop.
If you cancel fewer than seven calendar days before the workshop, you may request a credit toward a future Career Probe public workshop.
Workshop credits are subject to availability and do not guarantee admission to a specific future date.
Registrations may not be transferred to another person without written permission from Career Probe.
Failure to attend a workshop without notice does not qualify for a refund or credit.
To request a cancellation or credit, contact hello@careerprobelab.com.
If Career Probe cancels a workshop, you will be offered either a transfer to another available date or a full refund to the original payment method.
If Career Probe reschedules a workshop and you cannot attend the new date, you may request a full refund to the original payment method.
Career Probe will initiate approved refunds promptly. The time required for a refund to appear in your account may depend on Ticket Tailor, the payment processor, and your financial institution.
1:1 Career Pivot Diagnostic Session
The 1:1 Career Pivot Diagnostic Session may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice using the link in your confirmation email.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled starting time are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made fewer than 24 hours before the session are not eligible for a refund. Missed sessions without notice are not refunded.
Career Probe may make exceptions in the event of an emergency or other exceptional circumstance. Any exception is made at Career Probe’s discretion and does not change the general policy.
If Career Probe cancels or cannot deliver the session, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund to the original payment method.
Organizational services
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms for organizational engagements are stated in the applicable proposal and signed agreement.
If an organizational agreement does not contain a specific cancellation provision, a full refund is available when the engagement is cancelled more than 14 calendar days before the scheduled delivery date. Cancellations made within 14 calendar days may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50 percent of the engagement value to account for preparation and work already completed.
6. Workshop Format, Materials, and Technology
Career Probe public workshops are delivered live through Zoom and use LEGO® Serious Play® model-building, guided reflection, and facilitated conversation.
Participants need access to their own LEGO pieces or a comparable collection of varied building pieces. The recommended LEGO® Serious Play® Starter Kit may be purchased separately, but it is not included in the workshop ticket.
Registered participants will receive materials, preparation information, and access instructions before the workshop.
Participants are responsible for:
Obtaining appropriate building materials
Using a device capable of accessing Zoom
Maintaining a sufficiently reliable internet connection
Joining from an environment in which they can participate
Testing their audio and video before the workshop
Following the access and preparation instructions provided
Technical problems affecting an individual participant do not constitute cancellation of the workshop. Career Probe will make reasonable efforts to help participants resolve access problems but cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, network, or technology configuration.
7. Intellectual Property
All Career Probe materials are the proprietary intellectual property of Doctor Maple LLC unless otherwise stated. This includes:
Workshop content, exercises, prompts, and facilitation structures

8. Confidentiality and Group Participation
Information shared directly with Career Probe
Career Probe uses reasonable care to protect personal information shared through applications, intake forms, the 1:1 Career Pivot Diagnostic Session, organizational follow-on coaching, and other private communications.
Career Probe will not intentionally disclose your personal career situation or private session content except:
With your consent
When necessary to provide the service through an authorized service provider
When required by law, court order, or legal process
When reasonably necessary to protect someone from an immediate risk of serious harm
When necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim
Career Probe may use aggregated or anonymized observations to improve its services, provided that the information does not reasonably identify an individual participant.
Information shared in workshops
Career Probe workshops may include paired conversation, small-group discussion, model sharing, and facilitated reflection.
Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and not disclose personal stories, career circumstances, models, or other identifying information shared by another participant.
Because workshops involve interaction among independent participants, Career Probe cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality. Participants should use their own judgment when deciding how much personal information to share.
Organizational engagements
Information-sharing expectations for organizational workshops and follow-on coaching may be addressed in the applicable organizational agreement.
Career Probe will not provide an organization with the private content of an individual coaching conversation unless the participant has provided express consent or disclosure is otherwise required by law.
Career Probe may provide an organizational sponsor with attendance information, program-level observations, anonymized themes, or other deliverables described in the organizational agreement.
9. Session Recording
Career Probe may occasionally record live workshop sessions for internal review, program improvement, accessibility, or marketing purposes.
A recording may capture participants’ names, images, voices, models, and contributions. If a workshop will be recorded, participants will be notified during registration, in the confirmation materials, or before recording begins.
By attending a workshop after receiving notice that it will be recorded, you consent to being captured in the workshop recording.
Career Probe will not publicly use an identifiable participant’s testimonial, personal story, or featured contribution for marketing without the permission required by the applicable recording notice or a separate release.
Workshop recordings are not routinely distributed to participants. A participant with an accessibility-related need may contact hello@careerprobelab.com to discuss whether an appropriate accommodation or recording access can be provided.
The 1:1 Career Pivot Diagnostic Session is not recorded.
Individual follow-on coaching sessions provided as part of an organizational engagement are not recorded unless the participant and Career Probe expressly agree otherwise in writing before the session.
If you have concerns about recording, contact hello@careerprobelab.com before registering or attending.
10. Testimonials and Feedback
Career Probe may invite participants or clients to provide feedback or testimonials.
Career Probe will request permission before publicly using an identifiable testimonial. If you provide permission, you may choose whether the testimonial is attributed by:
Full name
First name only
Professional role or organization
Anonymous description
You may withdraw permission for future use by contacting hello@careerprobelab.com. Withdrawal will not require Career Probe to recall or destroy materials that were lawfully produced or distributed before the withdrawal was received.
11. Participant Conduct
Career Probe is committed to maintaining a respectful and constructive learning environment.

Harass, intimidate, discriminate against, or threaten another participant
Deliberately disrupt a session
Record, photograph, or distribute another participant’s contributions without permission
Share a workshop access link with an unregistered person
Use Career Probe services for unlawful purposes
Infringe Career Probe’s or another participant’s intellectual-property or privacy rights
Career Probe may remove a participant whose conduct materially disrupts the session, creates a safety concern, or violates these terms. A participant removed for serious misconduct may not be eligible for a refund.
12. Scope of Services
Career Probe provides career strategy, educational workshops, professional development, facilitation, and coaching-related services.
Career Probe is not:
A therapy, counseling, or mental health service

All decisions concerning job applications, interviews, career changes, resignations, negotiations, education, financial commitments, business activities, and professional investments remain your responsibility.

Career Probe may update these Terms of Service periodically.
When the terms are updated, the revision date at the top of this page will be changed. The updated terms apply to website use and purchases made after the effective date.
When a material change affects an existing registration or active organizational engagement, Career Probe will provide notice when reasonably required. A signed agreement governing an existing organizational engagement will continue to control unless it is modified in writing by the parties.
21. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Failure by Career Probe to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.
